We have a track record of addressing complex issues through various programmes, such as our award-winning MAPS Mentoring project, providing us with insights and experience to help children and young people who are struggling. At the heart of our mission lies the belief in the transformative power of support and by our help, guidance and empowerment, we will equip children and young people to overcome obstacles and improve their mental health and with it quality of life.
We recognise that in 2023 young people are facing a range of distinct mental health challenges. It is our aspiration to foster an environment where all children and young individuals can access support. This is facilitated through a range of offerings Volunteer Centre Sutton provides, including activities and providing safe spaces with environments where young people can come together to address their challenges and concerns.
Volunteer Centre Sutton checked and trained volunteers work closely with our community-focused team to engage with children and young people to provide them with the necessary support to conquer their difficulties.
'Sutton Youth Cares' helps young people in Sutton to be confident, resilient with strong self-esteem for their future.
We are delighted to have been chosen as one of the Mayor of Sutton's two chosen charities for 2023-2024 in support of this project. There will be many opportunities to support us, and our friends at St Raphael’s Hospice, throughout the year. Find out more...
