About the Organisation
Volunteer Centre Sutton connects local people with local volunteering opportunities, and our Volunteering Advisor service helps over 150 residents a year.
What you will be doing
As a Volunteering Advisor, you’ll meet residents for one-to-one sessions at our Sutton office to:

Help them identify causes they care about and types of roles they’re interested in

Suggest suitable opportunities using our Volunteer Hub and newsletter

Show them how to search and apply for roles
You can also get involved in events like volunteering fairs, stalls and talks.

What skills will you need?
We are looking for people who are:
- Friendly, welcoming, and a good listener
- Empathetic and comfortable working with diverse people
- Confident using a computer (training provided)
- Passionate about helping others find the right volunteering role
Minimum age: 18+
