About the Organisation

Conquest Art

What you will be doing

Conquest Art is a Charity, inspiring people with disabilities and long-term health issues to discover their creative energy and build self-confidence through art since 1978. Members meet regularly at our art groups to enjoy creative activities in a friendly and caring environment. They are encouraged to create artwork from their imagination, to develop their own style and work at their own pace.

Conquest Art groups are all run by volunteers who offer their time and enthusiasm and with support, are rewarded by the sense of fulfilment that comes with being involved from such a worthwhile cause.

Your few hours a week could make a real difference to people's lives.

Not every volunteer needs artistic ability, but you do need to be over 18 and a ‘people person’. All art groups need a team of volunteers which have a variety of different gifts from organisational skills, artistic experience to someone dealing with the money or making the tea. Most of all they need your enthusiasm to help create a friendly welcoming environment where members feel relaxed and able to make the most of their time with them.

Volunteers are the people who make Conquest Art possible.

Could you join the team?
