Sutton Lodge Day Centre
What you will be doing
Escorts are needed to go out with the minibus and collect members to bring them to the Day Centre for lunch, and then take them home again. The volunteer will need to escort people from their front door to the minibus, and will often have to provide a steadying arm for our more frail clients. They will also help to operate the tail lift for the minibus, to assist those people who cannot manage the steps. Volunteers will need to be able to get on with people, have patience and chat with them as they make their way to and from the Day Centre.

What's the time commitment and where?
One and a half hours weekly in the morning or afternoon

On Brighton Road - stops nearby for buses 80 / 280 / 420 / S4 and the S1 stops by the hospital, a five minute walk from Sutton Lodge. 10 minute walk from Sutton Train Station Limited parking outside Sutton Lodge
