What you will be doing

To support our gardener with looking after and nurturing our gardens and grounds. To assist in creating a high impact low maintenance outside space for our patients, families, staff and volunteers to enjoy.

Skills Description
- To have an interest in the work of the Hospice and want to support your community
- To have an interest in an outside activity and an interest in gardening (no expert knowledge needed)
- This is a physical role and is outside in our grounds
 

What's the time commitment and where? 

There is no minimum time requirement so you do not need to commit to volunteering every day. On your application form please kindly specify your availability

Location: St. Raphael's Hospice. 801 London Road, Cheam , SUTTON, SM3 9DX. St. Raphael's is located on London Road between Morden and North Cheam and can be reached by underground to Morden station and then a Bus 93; from Raynes Park or Wimbledon Buses 163 then 413/293. Please alight at the St Anthony's Hospital stop. Ample parking is available on site free of charge. On entering the site by car please turn immediately left and the hospice car park bays are clearly marked.

We are on one level and have ramps available if needed as we are a health care setting with patients and those important to them who at times may be less able.
