Why not join us at Belsize Court helping older people to get the best out of life, through personalised activities for those at Belsize and the wider community.
We are looking to create a group called "Friends of Belsize" the aim would be for the group to work with us at Housing 21 to improve Social inclusion at Belsize Court.

Age Range: We can accept applications for under 18s, including from 16+.

Skills Description
DESIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:- * Working with older people and people with disabilities * Prepared to undertake further training where appropriate * Ability to prepare the room for activities including moving chairs and tables * Ability to encourage and support clients in a range of activities * Skills in small group work * Strong communication skills and interpersonal skills * Ability to work with professionals from varying disciplines and different organisations.
KNOWLEDGE:- * Awareness of the needs of older people * Knowledge of the ageing process * Knowledge of health and safety issues
ATTITUDE:- * Motivated to work to meet the needs of older people and people with dementia or disability * Willing to learn new skills * Sensitive, patient and understanding of service users' needs. * Caring reliable attitude towards people and work * Values diversity and shows commitment to equality of opportunity * Values health and safety and shows a commitment to ensuring a safe working environment.
What's the time commitment and where?
Weekdays Monday to Friday. Timing is flexible.
