About the Organisation
MQEF (Queen Elizabeth's Foundation)
What you will be doing
We need people who can take our Clients to hospital appointments, out shopping, to attend organised activities or just for a drive and a change of scenery.
If you are over 25, have a clean licence, enjoy being with people and have a few hours to spare, not necessarily on a regular basis, we would love to hear from you. No experience necessary and drivers will not be required to use their own vehicles.
What's in it for you?
This role offers flexibility and the satisfaction of having a direct impact on the lives of QEF Clients and their families. You will feel really appreciated and valued by the team at the CRC who are so grateful for the support of their volunteers. You will never need to use your own vehicle and you will receive full MIDAS training prior to starting.
What skills will you need?
What's the time commitment and where?
Requests for transport differ from week to week, so this can vary. When we have a requirement, we will call you to find out your availability. However, we do ask that you are available for at least 6 months due to the costs of training etc
Location: QEF Care and Rehabilitation Service Woodlands Road Leatherhead Surrey, KT22 0BN
The nearest public transport link is Leatherhead train station which is approx a mile and a half walk but we do have free parking on site.
