We support people as they become parents. Local NCT groups and activities are an essential part of what we do and help parents feel confident connected and safe.
What you will be doing
- Planning and leading a Walk & Talk to support parents in your local community.
- Advertising the Walk & Talk to ensure parents know this is available.
- Attracting and welcoming new participants to the Walk & Talk.
- Following NCT guidance to ensure all events are welcoming, inclusive and safe.
- Collecting and sharing information about the difference you make to parents.
- Promoting NCT’s values and vision in the local community.

What skills will you need?
- Able to plan and organise a regular and inclusive Walk & Talk group/groups.
- Welcoming to all parents and a good listener.
- Passionate about supporting parents.
- Motivated and reliable.
What's the time commitment and where?
- This is a flexible role that can fit around your commitments and availability.
- You could volunteer with as little as 2 hours per week, however the time you spend as a Walk & Talk volunteer will depend on when and for how long the activity takes place.
