Volunteer Centre Sutton and Sing out Sutton are looking for several volunteers to provide regular support to a new Singing Group. The group is designed to help those who have respiratory conditions like COPD (chronic obstructive pulmonary disease) and Asthma so anyone with similar breathing issues would be most welcome.

What you will be doing

Volunteer Centre Sutton and Sing Out Sutton are looking for several volunteers to provide regular support to a new Singing Group.

The group is designed to help those who have respiratory conditions like COPD (chronic obstructive pulmonary disease) and Asthma so anyone with similar breathing issues would be most welcome.

Volunteers will help with setting up a room at Wallington Library, will welcome and greet the group attendees, offer moral support and encouragement and ideally enjoy singing. No experience is required.

This would suit anyone who enjoys singing and connecting with diverse people in a caring capacity.

The group starts up on 17th September from 1.30-2.30pm and runs fortnightly for 12 sessions. We are looking for several volunteers so this can become a shared role that doesn’t require attendance at every session.

Skills Description
This role will suit anyone who loves singing, meeting new people and is good at supporting, encouraging and motivating others.

What's the time commitment and where? 

Starting Tuesday 17th September 2024 for 12 sessions on a fortnightly basis. 1.30-2.30pm (ideally arriving slightly early to help set up a room)
