What you will be doing

Serving in our hospital shop, filling up, tidying storeoom and all aspects of shop work

All aspects of shop work, includes, serving, shelf filling and checking stock. Tidying stockroom.

Although we have visitors and staff using the shop we try to remember that patients are here for a reason so giving a friendly smile and word to patients can help to keep them calm. A sense of being useful and helping someone, making a difference.

What's the time commitment and where? 

Time Commitment

Normally three to four hours a shift and most volunteers do one shift a week. All we ask is that you are reliable, friendly and smile.

Disability and Access Support

Being in the hospital there are wide doorways, ramps. Unfortunately, we are unable to have wheelchair users as there is not enough room behind our counters.
