About the Organisation
The League of Friends is a much-valued part of life at St Helier Hospital, raising funds to benefit the Trust by running a range of services for patients, visitors and staff.
What you will be doing
- Making and serving sandwiches and rolls to order, along with a selection of fresh cakes and cold drinks. No hot food is served but you will be making hot drinks.
- The role also involves some food (salad) preparation.
- There is a full cleaning rota at the end of each day's shift.

Time Commitment
Our core hours are 10am - 2pm and the 4-5 hour shift will be adjusted to cover opening and closing procedures such as food preparation and cleaning at the end of the shift. Most volunteers do one shift a week but many others help by doing a second shift as well.

Disability and Access Support
Being in the hospital there are wide doorways, ramps. Unfortunately, we are unable to have wheelchair users as there is not enough room behind our counters.
