What you will be doing
Sutton Neighbourhood Watch (SNHW) is looking for a Ward Coordinator in each of the following three Wards – Hackbridge, North Cheam, and Worcester Park South. In fulfilling this important role, you will work alongside others in your Ward; in close partnership with the membership locally; the police and council; be the eyes and ears of your community; and in doing so keep your community safe. Whilst good communication skills are essential, you do not require any experience in relation to neighbourhood watch. You will work as part of a dedicated team, so ideally be a good team player; and will need to possess basic computer/smartphone skills, including communications via email and WhatsApp, and be comfortable with word processing packages.

Skills Description
Although no formal experience is necessary, you will need to be a good all-round communicator, with a desire to work alongside SNHW colleagues and the police; to inform, advise members and residents about safety issues; and ensure incidents of crime are reported. Equally important is an understanding of the Association’s values and objectives; to be computer literate and comfortable with basic word processing packages. Ability to work as part of a team and be a team player is also required.
What's the time commitment and where?
Up to two days a month. Attending evening Committee meetings for two hours every two months.
