About the Organisation

Sutton Women's Centre's mission statement: "Proving a safe, women-only space where women can access support, advice, information and education to help them achieve their potential, develop their skills and live their lives free from domestic abuse".

We have been supporting women and girls for 40 years (since 1985) and are a unique organisation within the London Borough of Sutton delivering services to meet the needs of local women. We are a place of hard work and hope, of empathy and empowerment. The Centre is a safe space for counselling, increasing communication between women or just learning something new. Our workshops and classes are very well attended and creche facilities are available, giving local women the opportunity to enjoy painting, write that bestseller they’ve been meaning to or even upskill with our Job Club.
