About the Organisation
Cancer Research UK
What you will be doing
Through research we are beating cancer. Step by step. Day by day. But beating cancer is a team effort and our research isn’t possible without you.
In every corner of the UK, 400,000 participants are limbering up to join the fight against cancer. Last year our Race for Life events raised an incredible £26 million which will help fund life-changing research. When you join us on event day, you play a pivotal role in helping us find ways to prevent, diagnose and treat cancer.
Epsom & Ewell Race for Life need volunteers to help run the day and make out participants have the best experience on 22nd June. If you would like to help course marshal, hand out medals, cycle/ run the course or hand out medals.
Together we are beating cancer.
What's in it for you?
You will helping to fund life-saving cancer research, get to know other volunteers and local communities and maybe develop new skills.
What skills will you need?
What's the time commitment and where?
08:30am arrival 12:30pm finish approx.
Location: Nonsuch Park, London Road, Sutton, Epsom, KT17 2DL
The meeting point is on the London Road side of the park, along The Avenue path, KT17 2DL. If don't use the above address and use the main entrance you will need to walk to the opposite site of the park.
Disability and Access Support: Everyone is welcome to join. Any wheelchair users might struggle with the uneven terrain, and we would recommend to have someone with you anyone who is able to assist. There is no access restrictions, just uneven services around the park. I would also say for the visually impaired, we have lots of roles to choose from, we would just recommend bringing someone with you for around the park.
