About the Organisation
QEF Mobility Services is one of the UK’s largest providers of mobility advice and support for people with disabilities and age-related impairments. We provide mobility assessments, expert advice and driving lessons to support people of all ages to live more independently.
What you will be doing
This is a hands-on role with varied tasks, including:
- Car care - washing, cleaning and basic upkeep of our fleet.
- Equipment maintenance - cleaning and ensuring items are in safe, usable condition.
- Gardening and grounds care - sweeping and raking, tending to flower beds and window baskets, weeding and planting as necessary.
- Seasonal upkeep - hedge clipping, heavy weeding, hoeing, and occasional larger outdoor projects.

What skills will you need?
- Hands-on and practical - enjoys physical, outdoor tasks and isn’t afraid to get stuck in.
- Team player - happy working alongside staff and other volunteers, but also confident working independently.
- Basic DIY/gardening skills are helpful but not essential, as guidance will be provided.
What's the time commitment and where?
Ideally, we are looking for a minimum of 6 hours a week, but we are flexible on times and days (Monday to Friday). We’re grateful for any time you can offer.
