What's the time commitment and where?
Time commitment:
Volunteers are asked to commit to a minimum of 8 hours per week.
Opportunities are available Monday to Friday, between 9:00am and 5:00pm, with flexibility around when those hours are completed.
The role includes travel to visit clients, as well as time for record keeping, report writing and attending relevant meetings.
We ask volunteers to make a regular commitment so they can build positive relationships with the people they support and provide consistent advocacy services.
This role is ideal for someone looking for a meaningful, ongoing volunteering opportunity that fits around existing commitments while making a real difference in their community.
Location:
This role is based from our Sutton office at Hill House, where you will typically spend one day per week carrying out administration, planning and report writing. The remainder of your volunteering will take place out in the community, visiting people in a range of settings including hospitals, care homes and supported living services across Sutton and surrounding areas. Regular travel is required, giving you the opportunity to meet a diverse range of people and make a direct impact where support is needed most. This is a hybrid volunteering role that combines office-based work with community visits, offering variety and the chance to build meaningful relationships with the people you support. Ideally would suit a car driver, but not essential. (Travel expenses paid)
