About the Organisation

Duffus Community Foundation exist to make a positive difference to children & young people's wellbeing and resilience. Our mission is to create a future where every young person has the opportunity to thrive, supported by a community that nurtures mental, emotional, and social growth through a range of tailored activities. • Support young people's wellbeing - Help ensure the charity's programmes are inclusive, safe and effective, and that young people's voices and needs influence the activities provided.
  • Oversee finances and resources - Review budgets, spending, income and fundraising plans. All trustees share responsibility for ensuring the charity manages its money properly, although one trustee may specialise in finance.
  • Make sure the charity is well governed - Help ensure the charity follows the law, protects children and young people, manages risks, handles safeguarding concerns appropriately and uses its funds for its charitable purposes.
  • Help the charity grow - Contribute ideas, build relationships with schools and community organisations, support fundraising, identify potential grants and help the charity reach more people.
