Volunteer Centre Sutton's new Wallington office hosted 45 partners for a Together for Sutton training session, demonstrating how this flexible, accessible space supports community collaboration.

Training Session at Volunteer Centre Sutton Office

Volunteer Centre Sutton is proud to showcase our new training and meeting space in action at our Wallington office, in Carew House, located right next to Wallington Train Station — just a 9-minute journey by train from Sutton.

Yesterday (27 January 2026), we welcomed a group of 45 colleagues from across the Together for Sutton network for a joint training session. Attendees included representatives from Citizens Advice, Community Action Sutton, Advocacy for All, Healthwatch, and many other local organisations working together to support residents across the borough.

Our new open-plan training room can comfortably accommodate 50–60 people, making it ideal for large meetings, workshops, and partnership events. The space is fully equipped with a large screen for presentations and a spacious kitchen area where tea, coffee, and refreshments can be provided. The kitchen can also be used as a breakout area during sessions, offering flexibility for group work and informal discussions.

The event demonstrated how this new venue can support collaboration, learning, and connection between local organisations — all in a central, easily accessible location.

The training and meeting space is available to hire on request. For more information or to discuss bookings, please contact Volunteer Centre Sutton CEO, Anita Maullin, at AnitaMaullin@vcsutton.org.uk
