The shortlists for the Sutton Community Awards have been announced and we would like to congratulate everyone who has been shortlisted. You can see the shortlists in full here.
A special mention also to:
Derek Terrell, one of our MAPS Mentors, who has been shortlisted for Outstanding Volunteer. This award recognises an individual who has gone above abd beyond as a volunteer, making a considerable and tangible impact within the community.
Ethan Smith, one of our MAPS Mentees, who has been shortlisted for Oustanding Young Person. This award recognised a young person under 21 who has brought real credit to the borough through exceptional academic, sporting, artistic or cultural achievements.
One of our Young Commissioners, Ferdie Gould, has also been shortlisted for Outstanding Young Person.
And last but certainly not least, our wonderul Trustee, Yvonne McPhee, has been shortlisted for the Sue Robson Trustee of the Year award. This award recognises an individual who goes above and beyond to support and represent their organisation with passion and enthusiasm and a real drive for success.
The winners will be announced at the Sutton Community Awards ceremony on Wednesday 9th October.
