Volunteer Centre Sutton Impact Report 2025-26

The report highlights how volunteers, staff, trustees, partners and funders, have continued to fulfil our vision of building better lives through volunteering across Sutton.

Volunteer Centre Sutton is proud to publish its 2025/26 Impact Report, celebrating another year of growth, innovation and community impact.

Volunteering continues to be at the heart of everything we do. This year, 1,703 volunteers across the borough gave their time, skills and compassion to support local organisations to strengthen communities and create lasting change. We also launched our new Volunteer Hub, making it easier than ever to connect residents with meaningful volunteering opportunities across Sutton's charity, community and faith sectors.

Reflecting on the year, CEO Anita Maullin said:

"As we reflect on 2025–26, I am incredibly proud of what we have achieved across our communities in Sutton. This report highlights the difference we have made and the powerful impact that collective community action can achieve."

In addition to the external charity, community and faith support, internally through VCS  programmes, we supported 3,483 Sutton residents experiencing isolation, inequality, poor wellbeing and a range of other challenges through our youth, adult and community services. These programmes are directly supported by 621 volunteers who provided over 40,000 hours of volunteer time.

Our 2025/26 Impact Report showcases the stories, achievements and partnerships behind these figures, demonstrating what is possible when people come together to support one another.
