Flora and her daughter Ariel moved to the UK ten months ago. Together they came along to one of Integrating Sutton's Coffee Mornings and expressed an interest in wanting to do some volunteering together.

They have been volunteering for over a month at Sutton Community Farm helping with crop production. When reflecting on the past month, they said, 'It is a great pleasure for us to be volunteers at Sutton Community Farm. It is a not-for-profit community project and a place which connects people.'

'Through working on different kinds of crop production work together with people from different walks of life, we benefit from improved wellbeing and appreciate the opportunity to interact with the people there.' 

'We both enjoy it so much and will definitely continue to be part of it!'
