Health Navigator Project Makes Strong Start in Sutton

Launched in October 2025 with new funding, the project is delivered in partnership with the London Borough of Sutton’s Public Health Directorate and has already made a significant impact.

The Health Navigator Project offers free blood pressure and pulse checks, helping Sutton residents access vital health information and take control of their wellbeing.

To date, the project has provided 375 blood pressure checks, supported by 37 fully vetted and trained volunteers who carry out the screenings. Outreach has been extensive, with visits to workplaces, community groups, and events including South London Waste Partnership Commercial, the Ukraine Group, the Afghan Group, Sutton Lodge Day Centre, Riverside Centre, Sing Out Sutton, the Tamil Elders Group, Diabetes UK drop-in, and Together for Sutton’s Information Network events.

These early interventions demonstrate strong engagement and highlight the project’s growing reach across Sutton’s diverse communities, helping residents stay informed about their health and wellbeing.
