People affected by cancer have a lot of stress and anxiety when they are diagnosed with cancer, when they are having treatment, after treatment ends and if they are living with incurable cancer. Some patients and carers are also dealing with a life changing / limiting illness and being able to offer gentle complementary therapies can help to make them feel better and give them something to look forward to. Clients are people affected by cancer, their relatives or carers.

Provide a warm welcome to visitors and callers at Age UK Sutton's office, and help staff with office admin tasks and to provide our clients with information and options.

First point of contact with clients seeking help and advice to resolve their problems.

As a Baby & Child First Aid Coordinator you will help make this possible by playing an important role in making valuable first aid courses available to parents giving them access to lifesaving skills and the confidence to put them into practice.

A Local Group is a team of people who share our passion for livelihood creating tools, and gather to collect tools from their area. Many also arrange tool collections at local supermarkets, DIY stores and garden centres. Many also offer talks to local community groups and even speak on local radio. Some groups sort the tools before arranging collection, and some even do some refurbishment, such as grinding off rust and fixing loose handles.

Volunteers from the League of Friends are based in the hospital corridors, to be a visible source of help and guidance. You will be answering questions and giving directions to patients and visitors.

The Grazing Volunteer role will include livestock (Sheep, Goats and cattle) work as well as scrub clearance and odd job around the Farm. You may also help with events held at the farm.

We are seeking to recruit to the Board of Trustees all of whom are volunteers. All Trustees require excellent communication skills, ability to work effectively as part of a team, strategic vision and good independent judgement. Although not limited to, we would particularly value the experience and skills in these areas : Company Secretary/Legal Experience Fundraising in the following areas – Grant, Corporate and Public Marketing Lived MH experience - desirable
