This little garden at the Worcester Park Library is a very special little garden, valued and used by all members of the community, including children. It is a fenced in garden with seating and has a relaxed tranquil woodland feel in the hubbub of the high street. It is important to the volunteer gardeners to work with nature in a environmentally friendly way to encourage wild life and plants protecting our green spaces.

As an Activity Volunteer you’ll support our Activity Coordinator to run group or 1-1 activity sessions. We do bake, do flower arranging, arts and crafts, quizzes, bingo and much more!

This remote role begins with a 20-hour project, the option for ongoing volunteering (approx. 1.5 hours per week). Would you like to work with us in our lovely park providing events for the community? Are you a dog lover? Or is music or art your thing? Lots of roles for people of all ages and fitness levels.

Helper needed to support girls explore the things they love and do stuff they’ve never done before (their words) and provide a fantastic environment to help girls know they can do anything.

You will help foster the empowerment of young people from a variety of underprivileged backgrounds, showcasing their individual spirits through inclusivity and togetherness. You’ll be there to help them to discover how brilliant they are; showing them kindness, and teaching them to be proud of themselves as they explore and grow through the week.

Volunteers will work closely with the staff, horses, coaches and riders. You can tack up and untack the horses, then lead the riders in their lessons. Some volunteers prefer just to assist in the lessons, rather than prepare the horses. We also need side walkers for each rider, sometimes two for each pony.

We are looking for volunteers to work in our charity hub at The Royal Marsden, Sutton. Visitors to The Royal Marsden will be able to approach the charity hubs to find out more about The Royal Marsden Cancer Charity, make donations and buy merchandise.
