As a mentor, you will play a vital role in helping students achieve their academic goals and grow in confidence, offering guidance, encouragement, and a consistent, supportive presence. MAPS (Mentoring, Advocacy and Peer Support) is early intervention 1-2-1 mentoring programme, run by Volunteer Centre Sutton, working with local children and young people who are facing challenging circumstances or have complex needs. Under the MAPS Mentoring project, Mentors provide each young person on the programme with a safe space and dedicated time to talk, as well as an opportunity to expand their horizons.
