- Welcome and deal with visitors/callers to the hospice - Advise all visitors of our current infection control measures .and ensure these measures are adhered to at all times. - Take and deal with incoming telephone calls - Pass on messages as appropriate - Liaise with ward clerk and clinical staff on admissions and other patient matters - Accept and process donations brought into the hospice reception by various donors

We are looking for a volunteer with a fundraising focus, supporting us to build relationships in the Borough and extend our reach.

Session volunteers prepare the ponies for riding lessons, lead in the school, support riders, and help with yard and field-based tasks.

You’ll support people to achieve their full potential and increase their self-confidence. Volunteers from the League of Friends are based in the hospital corridors, to be a visible source of help and guidance. You will be answering questions and giving directions to patients and visitors.
