Spending time in green space or bringing nature into your everyday life can benefit both your mental and physical wellbeing. For example, doing things like growing food or flowers, exercising outdoors or being around animals can have lots of positive effects. And doing these things as a volunteer will benefit you even more!
Sutton is London’s greenest borough, with the highest percentage of green space so there are a wealth of volunteering opportunities outdoors. To celebrate the arrival of Spring, we’re shining the spotlight on some of the roles and local groups that you could get involved with. We’ve also found some great activities to try.
