They started by taking some time to think about their plans for 2025, their purpose and how to share their mission – keep your eyes peeled for their upcoming videos, all whilst having some fun.
Along with a workshop with the NHS giving their ideas on the 10 year plan (led by a sixth form student volunteering with the Volunteer Centre Sutton project), they have also had a stand at the Local Committee Meeting for Central Sutton speaking with counsellors and the public about all their community improvement and involvement so far.
They will be contributing their ideas to a council run event and also will be opening up the Sutton Women’s Centre Youth Empowerment Event on Thursday 27th February at Throwley Yard from 5.00-7.30pm with free pizza and a prize draw for a Primark voucher for all who register.
If you are a young person interested in getting involved our next Youth Board meeting is on Thursday 13th March at Sutton Central Library from 4.30-6.00pm come and give your views on Young people’s mental health in schools to get responses from senior decision makers in our borough. Email NatashaBlok@vcsutton.org.uk to let us know you're coming.
