As a trustee, you will use your skills and experience to support SWC and help it achieve it’s aims. We would particularly welcome CVs from volunteers who are keen to focus on the Treasurer role.

Membership/Secretary - League of Friends St Helier Hospital

General secretarial work, dealing with phone calls, answering emails/letters. Keeping our membership lists up to date and Gift Aid. Placing orders for our tearoom, shop and office.

Friendship Works mentor (children and young people) - Friendship Works (Family Action)

Trained volunteers meet up with a child or young person 3 hours, 3 times a month, for 2 years

Weekend Sales Assistant Volunteer (BANSTEAD VILLAGE) - Oxfam

As a Sales Assistant Volunteer you will be at the till, serving customers as the friendly face of your shop. You will help people facing poverty around the world by giving great customer service and making donors, customers, and supporters feel welcome in our shop. We’ll give you ongoing training and support so that you can feel right at home as part of the Oxfam Community!

Honeywood Museum has an important role in the local community. We take pride in our excellent customer service are looking for volunteers to support us by greeting and serving customers at the reception desk. You will be answering the telephone, recording admissions and serving people in the shop.

Trustee, Historic Croydon Airport Trust - Historic Croydon Airport Trust

Historic Croydon Airport Trust is the Charitable Incorporated Organisation established to operate the hugely popular Croydon Airport Visitor Centre and archives. Croydon Airport was London and the UK's first purpose built international airport. We are looking to increase the number of our volunteer Trustees to lead the organisation through the next stage of its development. These are "hands-on" working positions. The positions are unremunerated and for an initial period of 3 years.
