Befrienders will meet people outside their homes, and go out locally together to do activities chosen by members. This could be going for a walk, cycling round the park, or helping with grocery shopping. As a volunteer Befriender you'll offer support and friendship to adults with learning disabilities and/or autism. Members of the scheme may also have a physical or sensory disability, and mental health needs.

Volunteers will work closely with the staff, horses, coaches and riders. You can tack up and untack the horses, then lead the riders in their lessons. Some volunteers prefer just to assist in the lessons, rather than prepare the horses. We also need side walkers for each rider, sometimes two for each pony.

Four times a year, under 18s (or under 25 if SEND), living and studying in the London Borough of Sutton, can volunteer to share their views with key decision makers.

Historic Croydon Airport Trust is the Charitable Incorporated Organisation established to operate the hugely popular Croydon Airport Visitor Centre and archives. Croydon Airport was London and the UK's first purpose built international airport. We are looking to increase the number of our volunteer Trustees to lead the organisation through the next stage of its development. These are "hands-on" working positions.
