As a volunteer Befriender you'll offer support and friendship to adults with learning disabilities and/or autism. Members of the scheme may also have a physical or sensory disability, and mental health needs.

A Local Group is a team of people who share our passion for livelihood creating tools, and gather to collect tools from their area. Many also arrange tool collections at local supermarkets, DIY stores and garden centres. Many also offer talks to local community groups and even speak on local radio. Some groups sort the tools before arranging collection, and some even do some refurbishment, such as grinding off rust and fixing loose handles.

To transport & accompany victims of Modern Slavery & Human Trafficking to a place of safety. You may be the first person to show care and empathy to the victim on their journey to recovery.

Join Honeywood Museum as a volunteer! Welcome visitors, answer calls, record admissions and assist in the shop. Help bring local history to life in the borough's flagship historic house and museum, and help support a diverse on-going programme of events for visitors of all ages.

Volunteers will work closely with the staff, horses, coaches and riders. You can tack up and untack the horses, then lead the riders in their lessons. Some volunteers prefer just to assist in the lessons, rather than prepare the horses. We also need side walkers for each rider, sometimes two for each pony.
