Toby McGuinness is a wonderful example as, at only 15 years old and similar to the volunteers we spoke to in July and August, he is a super volunteer! He volunteers on several projects, both regular and one off and is known within the organisations as super helpful and invaluable asset to their team.
In the video below, he mentions:
- Young Commissioners leading campaigns and speaking up for young people in Sutton
- Parkrun as part of his Duke of Edinburgh award now, but he has been doing it for years before that.
- Helping at local events like EcoLocal’s Ecofair, Manor Park’s Folk in the Park.
He didn't mention that he also volunteers with St John’s Ambulance Service ...and probably more!
He’s a great inspiration for all ages.
