Help staff with the running or set up of Age UK Sutton's groups and activities and provide encouragement and a warm welcome to participants e.g. our new Walking Tennis Group!

A Local Group is a team of people who share our passion for livelihood creating tools, and gather to collect tools from their area. Many also arrange tool collections at local supermarkets, DIY stores and garden centres. Many also offer talks to local community groups and even speak on local radio. Some groups sort the tools before arranging collection, and some even do some refurbishment, such as grinding off rust and fixing loose handles.

Do you have green fingers? Would you like to use your gardening skills to help others? We have a beautiful garden site based at Springfield Hospital in Tooting where we provide horticulture training for disabled people and those facing health-related barriers to employment. This helps them move towards personal goals, opening up career opportunities and building confidence and self-esteem.

As a Parent/Carer Advice and Support Volunteer, you will support parents/Carers by providing them with accurate, up to date advice and information about a range of topics, including local and national services and support they may be entitled to.
