Volunteer Walking Buddy - Sutton Vision

SPRING IS ON ITS WAY...Do you love walking and talking, how about trying our befriending role as a walking buddy to support a visually impaired person in Sutton. We have one-to-one arrangements during the week or organised park walks at Nonsuch, Beddington and The Grove on Fridays.

Beavers, Cubs and Scouts Leadership Team member - 1st Cheam Scout Group

Join one of our leadership teams for either Beavers, Cubs or Scouts and help make a real difference to your community by helping to provide a wide range of activities at our weekly meetings and other outdoor activities for boys and girls in the age ranges of 6 to 14.5 years.

Assistant Coach - Cre8 Football

Are you passionate about football and eager to inspire the next generation of players? Join our team as a volunteer coach for children aged 6-11! You'll deliver fun, engaging sessions, help young players build skills and confidence, and promote teamwork and sportsmanship. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on coaching experience, develop your skills with support from experienced coaches, and make a meaningful impact in your community.

Mentor a student! - One Million Mentors

We recruit, train and deploy volunteer mentors, matching them with mentees (students at Harris Academy - Sutton 6th Form), and providing high quality support to both so that they are well prepared and can have an effective and impactful mentoring relationship. Our mentoring is one to one, for young people aged 14-25 years old, for 1 hour, once a month, for up to a year.

Community Connector Volunteer - Age UK Sutton

Offer companionship and conversation to isolated older people in Sutton, and empower them to gain a social and support network they can connect with, or to settle back at home after a stay in hospital.

Volunteer Befriender - MHA Communities East Surrey - MHA-Methodist Homes

As a Befriender you’ll be matched with a member and visit them regularly in their own home to bring friendship, company, and a chance to chat. You may also offer practical support such as; reading a newspaper or their favourite book or accompany the member shopping or to a recreational activity.
