Here are some comments from our Young Commissioners:

“The 2023 Youth Summit was a great opportunity for me to learn more about the Young Commissioners. When I first entered the Youth Summit, I was amazed by all these young people from our community who helped out with this event, I didn’t know who they were, but it really gave me the inspiration to join the Young Commissioners this year. The Youth Summit was truly a great way to socialize with others and people who make a difference in Sutton’s community.” Karena

“I really look forward to attending the Youth Summit this year to get involved in valuable discussions looking at diversity within Sutton. I also enjoy the prospect of being around and meeting other people my age in Sutton. Getting an insight into and hearing from different organisations whilst also having the ability to share my thoughts to them, are opportunities not to be missed!” Aaminah

“I’m excited learn more about the organisations that will be in attendance and learn more about their role in creating Sutton a better place.” Becky

“The Youth summit is a great chance to learn about mental health and other aspects that are not covered well in school, but it is also a great opportunity to build friendships with other young people in the community. It was especially great for me, as I only moved here recently, and it was a chance for me to make more friends.” Shun Yu
